1. Increase the individual's understanding of the region's demographics, characteristics, culture and attitudes.
2. Establish a networking system and a sense of being connected with experiences and emerging leaders both within the group and the community at large.

3. Increase the individual's understanding of leadership and provide an opportunity to further develop and reinforce personal leadership skills and techniques.

4. Nurture a sense of ethics and responsibility that may lead to more community involvement.
5. Provide an opportunity for participants to explore and discuss current community issues and opportunities.
6. Provide a resource to future leadership program participants.

The Twin Town Leadership Program can be used toward college credit for an additional fee.
